ARkival is in the magnetic consulting business and has, for many years consulted with an extensive list of both small and large businesses consisting of worldwide clientele that are actively involved in the research, development and use of magnetic materials and products AND the devices and device technologies that sense them, use them, manufacture them, read them and even digest them.
Recent medical contracting includes critical component studies for magnetic resonance equipment, MRI contrast agent evaluations, Magnetic Nanoparticle development and evaluation for specific cancer studies and treatment (NIH/ NCI).
Our consulting experience spans from magnetic thin film devices to the ultra-high speed, high density recording media and magnetic turnpike cards and readers. We have done consulting on card encryption systems, banknote readers, go/no-go sensors and digital rotation monitors as well as currency printing inks and sensors.
ARkival has performed client studies involving magnetic read failure rates, developed magnetic product specifications and magnetic device tolerancing, the measurement and use of industry-specific magnetic standards (NIST & ISO standards), magnetic device quality programs, specifications and round-robin magnetic measurement exchanges. The company has also designed and built several magnetic test devices with robotic automation currently being used in several strategic government operations.
Product evaluations include satellite components, military altimeters, automotive magnetic rpm monitors, stealth products, radar detection equipment, FAA air shipment compliance and several proprietary magnetic products.
In addition to our commercial work, we are also a GSA Contractor for the US Government (GS 35F0611L) as our customers can be Government Agencies themselves and well as suppliers of products to the US Government, Commercial companies & OEM’s.
